In 2014, completed a Ph.D. in the field of Art Studies at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, and graduated from a postgraduate course on Gender Studies from the University of Warsaw in 2009. Since 2016, the Associate Director of the Study Centre of the Polish Institute of World Art Studies. Co-organizer of several international conferences on Asian art including “Poland – China. Art And Cultural Heritage” (Kraków, 2009). Curator of many exhibitions involving contemporary Polish art. Author of a book entitled „Uwikłane w kulturę. O twórczości współczesnych artystek japońskich i chińskich” [“Culture trouble. The Contemporary Art of Japanese and Chinese Women”] and many articles on contemporary Chinese art. Editor of the publications “Costume – mirror of culture” and “The art of dress, dress in art”. Research interests include the influence of cultural heritage on contemporary Chinese and Japanese art.
