Polish Artistic and Scientific Mission in Japan is an organisation created out of social initiative, affiliated with the Polish Institute of World Art Studies in Warsaw and active in the last decade of Heisei era.

The Mission aims at developing cooperation between the Republic of Poland and the Empire of Japan within the framework of cultural exchange, humanities, and especially studies on art and artistic activities. My paper will present artistic and cultural events organised and co-organised by the Mission as well as its plans concerning the promotion of Polish culture and art in Japan. The audience will also have a chance to learn a bit more about the Okayama region.
